Prediction record
Every evening we write our rank of every runner in every usable race on the next British card and publish the page. After the results we score it against the pool favourite. Good days and bad days stay up; nothing is edited or removed.
How to check we didn't cheat
- Each day's page is written the evening before and kept unchanged in the archive; the generation time is printed on it.
- The ranks are also appended to a running file the moment the page is written; the record below is computed from that file, never from the results.
- Blind races (no form or no pool yet) are declared before the off and never count as picks.
- Scratched runners are skipped: our #1 is the first horse in our written order that actually ran. The order itself is never changed after it is written.
